ACT/SAT PREPARATION COURSE
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What exactly are college entrance exams?
The ACT (American College Testing) and the SAT (Scholastic Achievement Testing) are not-for-profit organizations that sponsor national tests to measure college-bound students' academic abilities. Although colleges also evaluate students' high school grades and extra-curricular involvement, students' ACT and SAT scores play a major role in deciding whether or not they will be accepted into their schools of choice. Many colleges also use these scores as the basis for awarding scholarships.
